    No. Thier doghouse is built into my storage shed which is attached to the kennels. The walls of the doghouse are insulated, the floor is raised about 3" and insulated and a small built in propane heater keeps them at a comfy 30*. I did have to bring them inside one time last winter only because the temp dropped to -50* with a with a windchill that made it feel like -100
