Damn good job Jake! My wife got me an 8g Biocube for Xmas and I love it. Sits by my pc on my desk. The fuge is gonna be great for you. Check your pump a few time per month to make sure it's clear of Chaeto that has broken off and found it's way through into the third chamber. Not a biggie but it happens.

Watch the GSP. While I love the heck out of mine they will be a nuisance in a small tank. Frag fest incoming for you my friend...lol

Haven't read what you feed but try a bit of Coral Frenzy in there. Every critter in your tank will love you for it. I love the zoos as well. Two Little Fishies makes a cleaner that's great for those hard to reash spots in our little tanks. Not much good for large areas. Mag Floats will always rule there but those out of the way places we can see but can't reach are for the baby cleaner .Looking good, Man !

alright i went ahead and went through with changing out the cc substrate
    for fine clean white sand,
    its awesome!
took me about 3 hours in total to drain it part way, take out coral and live rock, keep draining, take out fish more corals etc.
then take out cc substrate, put in my base rock, new sand, put a piece of plastic down to keep it from clouding up, filling er back up, and putting everything back in.
turned out great and i love it.
