I have a blue leg that killed a turbo for the shell. He's the only one in my 52 gal. I bought two more and added them to the tank. Within a day, saw the old big one pulling one of the smaller one's shells into his. Tried to take them apart and place on diff ends of tank. Didn't help, big found little again so I moved the two new small ones to my QT.

Then I found the small blue legs crawling on my newly acquired GSP and picking at closed polyps, but didn't see them do any damage as they just seemed to be casually picking. I'll have to keep a closer eye on them now!

Mod note: I've changed the title of your thread to make it a little more family friendly. :hehe:

My turbos are actually really good at twisting quickly to throw my hermits off of their backs. It's comical to watch. I gave up on buying Astrea snails, as they were just hermit food. My nassarius snails seem to be totally left alone by the hermits.

Hermits can be annoying in lots of ways. I have a new pipe organ coral that won't open up partly because my hermits are constantly walking across it.

Here's a pic of one of the newer blue-legs fighting with a bristle worm over a food disc. I have a vid too, but am not sure if I can host a vid here.
