Maxter, did you buy the tank at a petco or on line in the US, because they should replace it? Over all they are a good tanks but BioCubes do seem to have more leak issues than any other all in one tank I have seen. I have heard of people getting replacement tanks secondary to leaks on several occasions.

Make sure you get any tank you get off craigs list is solid. Moved glass tanks are more prone to leaks.

You need to empty that tank as soon as you possibly can. The leak might be jeopardizing the integrity of the stand and it's an electrical hazard.

I would rehome the tang because chances are good it will become symptomatic with Marine Ich after the transfer. You probably will have a mini cycle or even a true cycle so have fresh saltwater made up, get some prime for ammonia spikes and test every day.

Using the Start Smart Complete should help.

Prime or Amquel, these products only bind up the toxic forms of ammonia. You still need to do water changes. Tangs are poor choices for small tanks. They swim great distances in the wild and are not aqua cultured. Confining them to small tanks often leads to disease and behavioral issues, such as swimming in circles repeatedly, aggression....
