    cuttingras, dont give up .. a rugium will be a great and needed edition.. i dont think you need a sump, just buy a glass 10 gall, put some baffles in there, get a small powerhead for flow and do a siphon for the intake.. theres a ton of info on the DIY section (wow, all this coming from a guy who doesnt have one himself :-/ )

    but i plan on it soon

    LOL I guess I'm leery on setting one up since I've read a lot on how they overflow when the power goes off. How do you stop this from happening? Without being too technical.
