    I did a water change about 24 hours ago and scrubbed my live rock in the water I took out to get rid of some algae. My chemistry is as follows:

    Salinity = 1.023
    PH = 0
    Nitrates = 10
    Calcium = 380ppm
    DKH = 6

    How does this look? My nitrates should be at 0 I read, but that may have something to do with my live rock being removed and scrubbed with my change.

    Your Dkh is a little low, it should be at least 7, that's is what natural sea water is. Do you have a magnesium test kit?

    If that is pH, I heard around 8.2 for reef tank. If it's not pH than excuse my ignorance.

    Nope, no magnesium test kit, I guess I should pick one up huh? :D Could the low DKH have anything to do with the fact I had a major water change, took all the live rock out and scrubbed it, rearranged it, added a new filter and skimmer?

    I think he means phosphates. A PH of 0 would be seriously corrosive.

    Is this a reef tank?

    If so I would personally target these parameters.
    Salinity 1.025
    Calcium 450
    Alkalinity 9-10
    Magnesium 1400
    Phosphate 0
    Nitrates 0

    Your parameters would not have been affected by any cleaning except nitrate and possibly phosphate if you put some nutriets back into the water column that were locked up somewhere in the rock/sand etc.

    The water change could affect any of these since your new salt water may not match your current tank parameters.
