    The issue is that overstock is knowingly giving poor advice even after people explained to him why it was poor advice on a thread of his.

    ok but as with anything one should never take one persons view as true. people should take them all in and make a educated decision on what route to go. there are so many routes with saltwater tanks, what works for one doesn't work as well for another. i guess thats what makes this hobby so interesting . it keeps you learning. besides how peaceful and interesting it is to watch the tank. i had a fresh water tank first, i do find saltwater reef tanks to be easier and much more interesting.

    i say easier because when i had my fresh water chemicals seemed to be the route. it seemed like there where so many sick fish. you use the chemicals and wham now all your fish suffer. i like the natural views that owners of reef tanks take. and they work! maybe i would have had a better freshwater tank if i looked at fish keeping as i do now
