My clownfish is hosting my rainbow palys!!

    Have you tried covering up your rainbows? How large is the colony? I'd hate to see the clowns stress such pretty palys.

    well i tried moving them around and it doesnt seem to help much i dont have anything to cover them up with but it really doesnt seem to be bothering them since they are closed at night anyway. My only concern was that if they had done it during the day it would force them to close up and not get any light thus causing them to die. So far its only at night and not too much of a problem. I will let you know if things go downhill though.

    this may be of help, i read an article in a reefing magazine where the top half of a clear 2 liter bottle (with holes added) (like tigermike was saying) and weighted down with pvc (or whatever you choose) on either side to hold it in place. this was added while feeding certain kinds of corals. maybe this would help you???? just throwing that out there. maybe that would deter the fish and they may spring interest in something else. my smaller clown loves my actinodiscus mushroom.

    lol 4 months late much? coral queen hey from chesapeake. have you tried a torch coral witha pic of a clown hosting a torch taped to the glass? hope its not too late
