My coral!! Did i kill it?!?!

I bought a duncan coral. I went to move it when it fell off it's frag stump thing! the head of it is still whole but it fell off the thing! did i kill it?!?

 

It fell off its frag plug? No it shouldnt be dead..

 

No, as long as the heads are intact and there isnt any sign of tearing or breaking of the skeleton, it'll be fine

 

I was wondering though.. Did it fall of it's Frag plug? Or did it fall off it's skeleton?

If it's the frag plug, you could just glue it back to it with some reef glue ( or epoxy) or you could just glue the coral to a rock. Either way it should be fine.

If it fell off the skeleton then thats another story. Could you verify what happened?

 

i tried to move it because it wasn't in a good spot but when i tried to move it... i'm not isure... I post post pictures!

It'll be fine. Either glue it to rockscape or back to it's plug

OHh, yeah, it just broke off the plug. It should be fine. If you want you can glue it back to it with some reef glue though.

 

If I understand right, you didn't kill it, you just had the superglue come loose. Use some gel superglue to reattach it (or read up on some of the great techniques out there like superglue and putty).
