Well just like everyone else who has an ATO I was tired of topping off my system all the time and thought it was time to stop complaining and do something about it.

    So here is my cabinet

I put hinges on the top so I can open it to fill the 5 gal bucket that I am using for storage

Here is a shot with the bucket in place

I did put a ball valve right after the bulkhead in the bucket so I can remove the bucket if needed.

Next was making a float valve hanger I'm cheap and didn't want to spend the extra for the adjustable eshopps float valve so I made a bracket out of some scrap acrylic that I had from my sump build and bought a float off of ebay. I used my pocket torch to heat the acrylic and bent it in place. On the piece that the float mounts to I cut some slots so it could be adjusted. On the back piece I drilled some holes and tapped them so I could use nylon screws to hold everything in place once I had the float where I wanted it.

All in all I think I have around $30 wrapped up in this build so it's a win win situation I'm happy and most importantly my wife is happy! ;D

    Thanks for looking

Thats great work there! Did u build that cabinet? I have been searching everywhere for something exactly like that for my ato and 2 part dosing system. I have no more room under my cabinet and already too much equipment on the outside.

Thank you! Yes I did build it I also looked around for a prebuilt cabinet but couldn't find one that would fit the space I had or didn't cost a fortune. I had most of the material around so it didn't cost me much.

    Thanks!

    Thank you
