    Tease of the week:
I did pick up the huge encrusting monti colony(6"+ easily, peach w/ bright green polyps), the big ORA green stylo and the blue tip stag. I was also given a couple dozen small frags of various health by the local reefer breaking down his system, in addition to a sweet rock and a couple mushrooms/zoas/etc. Frags include green digitata, monti caps, and all manner of branching SPS. Awesome guy :)

Downside...no pics till monday at the earliest. I leave tomorrow AM for Philly to meet the future extended in-laws.

Well, just got home from the mini vacation and all is(pretty much) well. Only issue was my ATO reservoir went dry between checkups from a local reef buddy and the pump burnt out, but thankfully it was just a $15 mini-jet and I had a spare.

    I have a sickness!
Three new corals went in today- a small fire and ice acan lord colony(screamin deal), a blueberry encrusting monti frag(around 1" or so) and a small mystery acropora colony.

Heading back down Friday for yet more including(hopefully) an ultra-grade blue w/gold crocea clam and a couple more acans/acros.

    Pictures tomorrow!

Well, just as quick as that monti went in I got rid of it  It was beautiful but WAY too big for the tank. It went to get traded in along with the massive pink octo frogspawn, a small favia colony and a acan ec out of the frag tank. Picked up the two new aussie acan colonies and have some credit to spend come friday when they get the new order. Heading out tomorrow for more zoas from a local reefer breaking down his tank. Should have a new ultra-crocea by the end of the week :)

Pretty crap week, don't have pictures of all the new denizens but I snapped a new almost FST and a close up of a few. As usual, my pictures don't do a single thing justice. The bigger of the two acan lord colonies was just so cool/unique/fugly that I had to have it
I decided to hell with having a dedicated frag tank for this build. ive started 'scaping my secondary tank into another display.

Monti Cap, really pretty florescent green with a light purple edges

Aussie deepwater lobo brain, florescent orange/green/red

Two of the new zoa colonies open, eagle eyes on the left and pink goldrush on the right. The closed colony is purple people eaters.

Mentioned Big Ugly Aussies  when fully open they have some serious mega-fluffy polyps.

Current FTS. Some stuff(anthelia, xenia in upper right-zoas in center) are closed because the halides just shut off for the night. You can see the other acan lord(red/silver/blue) just below the mint candy cane in sorta center right above the sand.

Tested today, everything is good except my calcium. Nitrates and phosphates were undetectable, dKH at 11 and pH at 8.4. I had been running 1tps/gallon of kalk w/ 45ml of distilled vinegar as my top off and it has been slowly creeping down. Current calc is 380, upping it to 1.5tsp/gal and going to watch it closely. Previous it was holding steady at 460-480.
The big Hydno colony got moved to the 20 long tank. In went a sparkling cider(bright green with yellow tip) torch, unknown purple/pink branching acro, big ORA green stylo colony to compliment the big ORA green pocilliopora colony, a good size blackberry chalice frag and a big red monti cap. Tomorrow I am picking up a few new frags(ORA orange digi, green apple monti, tyree idaho grape, sunset monti and a true superman monti).
Will try and snap a few pictures once everything is in but the camera has been giving me a fits :(
