Sold my bigger setup and bagged myself a Dymax IQ5. Going to run the NX5 lighting to begin with and see how it copes, some nice controllability on it. First post is pic heavy so enjoy.

I have seen great thins come out of these little tanks. I have also heard that flow can be a bit of an issue aat times. I have 2 of these that will be going into my pico and they push a good amount of water , being adjustable is a plus too.

Thanks for the comments. Luckily that Tunze pump is available here in the UK too so if need be I'd easily be able to get my hands on one.

Sweet little tank ya got there. I've never seen that kind before. I love pico's though. Good luck with it, can't wait to see it's progress.

Nice tank, any ideas what you are going to stock it with?

I'll be starting off with zoas and rics, then might try some low light lps to see how the stock lighting copes. may stick in a pom pom crab aswell not sure what else tho.

Thanks for the great post on the newer Dymax Pico. That new light is cool. 8) I am rocking it with the old light and it is a great desk tank - I love mine a lot but that looks like a nice upgrade.

Good call. I did something similar with mine - works great in this tank. I love my Dymax - totally silent - great filter - old light works ok but that new one is nice - I'm psyched for you.

    matt

edit - just noticed your location between couches - that is perfect! 8)
