since bert my peacock mantis shrimp passed away and i no longer need a tank to keep his feeder crabs in im turning the feeder crab tank into a shrimp and goby tank :)... the filtration is not good so its going into the junk bin. i have a hob rio skimmer/ filter. its not perfect but it works pretty good.im kicking around the idea of a sump, a small 1 but none the less a sump. this tank is going on my dresser tucked neatly between all my tanks lol. this is dt 4 in my 12x12 room :). i currently have a 5 in dsb to aid in filtration although the bio load will obviously be kept small. ill be keeping the stock lighting and sown the line ill be adding some moon lights and an actinic of some sorts.

    afew questions:

what kind of return pump should i get/ how much flow do i need in addition to the rio (extremely low flow).

planning on trying a baby pearly jawfish is this a bad idea?

ill post up pics when the dust settles

the draw under it is mostly empty and im thinkin of puttn the sump in that but that in itself has a hole hose of issues.its on the front edge of the dresser so i can fit something behind it but the accessibility may become an issue. i gave somee thought to buying another eclipse tank and putting them back to back and using one as the sump. idk how much they cost though
