My firefish is DEAD!

its possible but i had a few missing chromis, never found their body and i heard like popping or tapping noise a few nights ago

deffiently had to be a mantis by the way it was eatin, when i caught my inverts and emerald crab picking at a few of my dead chromis they would tear a hole in the stomach and eat the insides *and this was in all of the chromis they got too* and my firefish it was just the body and the stomach wasnt torn into

 

If it is a mantis that is causing your headaches and fish death, just think about it... It is just doing what it knows best. Mantis shrimp are predators and wont change their natural behaviors just because it is in an unnatural setting. Dont kill it. I have almost killed some hitchhikers that I have had, but then I realized its not their fault and ideally they would rather be in the ocean than in a glass box in my room. The call is yours but I wouldnt.
