Went by the LFS they will have the selcon in for me on tuesday. Kind of excited as i have been reading up on pair/mating in clownfish and after watching my fish for the last cpl of hours on and off it looks like they might be heading that way. The dominate one is slightly bigger than the other and is nipping randomly and the smally one shakes or vibrates. I cant help but stare at my tank on my days off or when im not at work its so interesting.

so ive decided to switch to RO/Di water and i needed a water change. i went by the store and picked up 5g to do a 2.5g change along with changing the flow of my PH's from facing each other to meeting in the middle of the back wall. I noticed detritus in the middle of the tank under my big rock and staying there. Hopefully this is will get rid of that. The tank is really cloudy after moving them around and siphoning stuff out the tank. My female clownfish seems very stressed at first with the changes ive made, but now seems to like being able to swim through the middle of the tank wihout being blown away. Also i would like to maybe get one coral, any recommendations on a very beginner coral or should i hold of longer? They have a "blue button polyps" at my LFS store that looks very nice

Bought my first zoas today from the LFS they looked very plain underneath there lighting but having been in my tank for 45 mins now they seem to be opening up very good. A couple of them are still closed so we will see when/if they open. Also one of the polyps are green, where as the rest are an orangish blue color (pic included) not sure if its unhealthy or if it might be a difrent kind.

Green one in bottom right of picture. This picture is from when they were first put in the tank

If it is dieing should i pull it off the rock or leave it? Also what should i do if some of them do not open up

    Tank looks very nice... Congrats!

It may take some time for all the polyps to fully acclimate and open. If some do die, your hermits and snails should take care of them for you.

Already had to move the rock that the zoas are on, a snail decided it was in its way and wanted to push it around. Is it safe to put super glue on the bottom of the rock that there on to secure it to my other rocks?
