my first acan. awesome colors!

    the pic does no justice for the coral, its bright pink, then green, then greyish blue. i got 5 heads of it for 50 bucks. its an aussie acan but besides that i have no clue what kind. im treating it like any lps coral right now but if it needs special requirements, then id like to know them.
    first is no flash, second is flash.

    They prefer low light and lower flow, great coral.

    alright, i have it under the powerhead so not so much flow.
    i have MH but its off to the side of them. it that good enough?

    Probably, if it appears to start turning orange or bleaching put it under a ledge if you have one.

    I don't think that's an Acan, it looks much more like a lobophyllia hemprichii, or lobo brain. It still is a really nice coral though.

    really? anyone else think that? was it worth the price for 5 heads? it was 50 dollars total.

    yea there it was dull, it was under 4 white t5s and 2 blue ones. under my 14k they are amazing.

    X-2 look at the hard skeleton, it is branching. It is nice.
