ive been all over the us on vacations,i played travel hockey wich took me all over.but now me and my girlfriend thinger are taking a trip for my brithday to Belize. its a short trip only for 5 days but its all we could fit in between our hectic schedule. we are planning to go to san pedro one day, probably the first day we are there becuase to get to the cayes we need to stop in san pedro anyway. other then that im thinkn wer gonna do the cave tubing and some fishing. we want to go to the blue hole, i want to dive she doesnt. ive never scuba dived( is that the right word lol?) what are my odds of being able to do it? i am in good shape and all just never done anything like that. wer gonna be doing lots of snorkeling i think and i have my new handy dandy olympus tough 8010 for some underwater pics to share with you guys:). does any one know of anything else we should do while there?

on a side note i love my rum and i hear they are amazing there...any suggestions on types of local made rum?

    thanks guys :)

if you do the cave tubing, you will most likely meet my grandfather.

    seriously.

the blue hole (there are 2 actually. one in the jungle and one in the ocean) is only neat if you dive.

diving isn't one of those things one ought to do without training... but you can get on site training down there if you want... your call.

san pedro is awesome. i recommend taking a boat out for snorkeling and going around the reefs. it is far cooler than the blue hole.

ha ha. you checking belize city weather? it's tropical jungle... it's always iffy. it rains pretty regular on the mainland but it rarely just pours all day.
