    So...my son had a dr's appt in Augusta today! I got to go to the LFS!!!!!!! I bought a nice 10# chunk of live rock and my First Coral. Finger Leather...how's it look been in there a few hours and already it's starting to open! Wooo Hooo...hubby hasn't seen it yet :eek:

    Yeah i though you had corals and such already. Leathers should be easy to take care of.

    Good job. Let it be first of many!

    I like to buy frags when I can because I know I am in this for a long time to come. Much much cheaper. And fun to watch grow.

    You're right I did didn't I....When I was gone last time my mother in law killed them....OK so, here's my second coral...let's see it I can keep this alive! lol;D

    Looking good. Think ahead about what other corals you will want in your tank. Some leathers are quite chemically agressive. Not sure offhand about finger leather.

    120Gallons....I noticed that. My anemone, who has pretty much stayed in place since I moved him to where he was, suddenly moved. He trekked to the top of the rocks. I moved the finger leather to the opposite side of the tank. I think they were both in the current where the two power heads flow met. I'm guessing the anemone will find a place away from the leather that it likes and make it's home there(hoping)...

    Yep, the anemone will go where he wants, don't bother trying to put him where you want, he won't care. Mine has been behind the rocks for months. Great for viewing!
