Well I have been eyeing this blue and pink spotted watchman goby.
I heard that gobies jump out of the tank quite often so I wanted to find a solution to this before I bought him.
Well someone suggested putting screening aroudn the lights and not between the lights and water.
I though this was a pretty good idea so I bought some screen and velcro and surrounded my tank with it.
I was afraid it would look awful but you actually can't see it that much.
So anyways, today I picked up the pink and blue spotted watchman goby.
I acclimated him for 2-2.5 hours and then put him in my tank.
I then put frozen bloodworms and some Formula One pellets in for him and he started eating right away. So I hope he will do well in my tank and I am excited about my first fish.
I have a 55 gallon tank that has been set up for around 3 months now.
Other than the goby I only have 1 mithrax crab, 2 blue legged hermits, and 4 marguarita snails.

well enough rambeling.. here are some pictures.
sorry if they are blury im not that great of a photographer.

Feeding all depends on you i think... Pending the amount of fish you have... If you only have that Gobie once daily will do fine.. i have five fish in a 24 gal nano and feed once daily and feed frozen as a treat once a week...all my Kids (fish) are happy...

    Good Luck

I've been feeding him twice a day. Once with pellets and once with the bloodworms
I just give him a couple of pieces of the pellets and a small piece of bloodworms.
Don't know how I can tell if im over feeding/

You know you are overfeeding when your fish stop eating. I THINK the general rule of thumb is to feed your fish only what they can eat in 5 minutes. Great first fish BTW, gobies are great. If they would geat along, I would keep a tankful!
