First time poster here, though I've learned quite a bit from this forum!

Attached are some pics of my tank. It is a 29 gallon Biocube which I have retrofitted with 15" ReefBrite blue LED's including a dimmer. I have however, kept the 10k PC and Actinic PC, as I am told that PC bulbs offer natural spectrum that LED's do not. This is due the the prism effect cause by light refraction off of the gas molecules in the PC bulb.

I have also added a Koralia 425 powerhead.

In my tank, I have the following:

    3 Zoa
    1 Nuclear Green Paly
    1 Toadstool Leather
    1 Hammer
    1 Frogspawn
    1 Trumpet
    1 Cynarina
    1 Crocea Clam
    1 Green Star Polyp
    1 Pulsing Xenia
    1 Acan (3 polyps)
    1 War Coral

    Cleanup Crew:

    6 Turbos
    5 Nassarius
    6 Hermits
    1 Peppermint Shrimp
    1 Scarlet Skunk Shrimp

    Fish:

    1 Coral Beauty
    1 Clown
    1 Purple Firefish Goby
    1 Royal Gramma

Question 1: My corals THRIVE on a daily basis. However, is it me or does the Frogspawn look partially closed. It has been this way for a couple of weeks now, and I feel like he was previously bigger (in the same spot). If so, what could it be? Is it possible that it's too close to the Hammer and getting stung?
The hammer has REALLY been opening up lately.

Question 2: I don't appear to be having any conflicts with any of the corals. However, if you see a problem with their placement, please point it out. I don't want there to be any problems down the road. Tips on future placement is appreciated as well.

Question 3: How close can these corals come to each other without bothering their neighbors and which ones conflict most?

Question 4: I have a very dim spot in the middle, just above the Hammer. Is there anything that I can put there that doesn't require much light and that the Hammer would not bother?

Question 5: Looking for an eye catcher coral to put in the top middle. Preferably bright orange that shows up well under the blues. However, seems like anything Orange costs an arm and a leg.

Question 6: Last 2 days I have woken up, seems that the Nassarius have tipped over my Frogspawn. What can I do about this? (note that the previous question about the Frogspawn has been occurring far previous to this little issue.)

Any other comments or constructive criticism is welcome.

Flow in the tank goes counter clockwise. All parameters are perfect. Nitrates stay ~5 (they always have). Temperature stays between 76-77 (no heater necessary).

Fish are fed Mysis Shrimp, 1/2 cube per day and Corals are fed every other day with Microvore Microdiet. Corals such as the Cynarina are spot fed once a week with Mysis Shrimp. I also use "Fuel" twice per week. All WC are with RO/DI, 4 gallons per week.

    Seriously.... I'm addicted.

    Thanks!!

Thank you for your responses. However, The Frogspawn has seemed to be smaller for a couple of weeks or so now. It has only gotten knocked over the last 2 nights. Any other suggestions? My clown USED to host it, but doesn't seem to be anymore lately. Is it possible that the Frogspawn liked the flow in that spot at one time and now dislikes it?

Definitely a possiblity as well as it is recovering from the damaged done by the clown when it took residence in it.

Ah ok. I was under the impression that the corals didn't mind it and even thrived in some cases.

    Thanks! :)

No unfortunately they tend to be too rough. They have been known to sometimes kill anemones they are so rough.

Good to know. And yes. mine is typically very reckless. For a while he didn't even want me doing housekeeping near it and would try to bite me at times. Not to mention kicking up sand all around the Frog.
