    [IMG] Greetings From Wallstdrifter
Greetings, I am stuck with this username, looks to me like names can't be changed once registered. Is this true?

I have a 90 All Glass w/1 mega flow overflow drain system that I run with 3/4 pvc. My sump is sheet pvc and skimmer is rsc 135 Euro Reef both Reef Dynamics. Return pump is a 300 gal/hr at head Tunze. R/O system is Kent High-S, no need for DI resin. Evaporated water is re-supplied with Tunze osmulator. Lighting Giesman T-5 (6) (2-20,000K, 2- 6000 k and 2- 15,000,20,000K combination bulbs.) Ballasts are electronic by ADVANCED.
Water is CORAL MARINE by AQUCRAFT. Bedding is 5" crushed coral Jeabert plenum design. Going on 3rd year my calcium is always 440 with no supplements, tank does however consume 60 ml MgCl per week. Alk always titrates to 228 (about 13 Kh.) Everything very stable except MgCl.
Phosphate 8 to 12 parts per BILLION. Almost no water changes needed.

All coral and micro life robust. Holding bach on full stocking of SPS until I figure out how to eliminate flatworms. Pig wormer was taken off the market.

Test frags of arcopora are throwing trunk horizontally and 1" test purple monti has grown florescent blue polyps and is about the size of a large coffee saucer after 5 months.

Is anyone harboring a pregunta or einfrage perhaps?

I have a 30 gallon sump with refuge ( chaeto in there)...precision marine redline 150 protein skimmer, mag 9.5 return pump, 8 T5 HOs( only using 6 for now), SEISO M1100 power head ( I will be adding another power head shortly).

I plan on adding mandarin last ... Like in a few years..but don't want to rely on copepods to feed him completely. I want a tank raised one.

I don't see nothing wrong with your equipment list.

Bio Pellet Reactor for 135 gallon Systems

Watch the videos, buy this item exactly (try to get it from sponsors) and after one month of operation you will be adding phosphates and nitrate. You can add as much fish as your tank can fit at that point.

Your equipment is not bad I have some comments if requested.

    Remember this post.

Why would you want to add phosphates and nitrates? These two levels should be zero if at all possible. Do not add all the fish you can at once either. Honestly, that is just flat out bad advice. Sorry man, but that would just throw the OP into another cycle and kill some of the fish if not all of them. You always add 1 or 2 fish at a time so that you beneficial bacteria can catch up with the new bioload.

I think you're on the right track. I would really read up on the powder blue tang, as it seems most that have them, hate them because of how mean they are. I'd look into some of the other smaller tangs, like kole tangs, mimics, bristletooths, just to make the stress level lower in the tank
    Live Aquaria

And as smitty mentioned, wait until ya have an awesome pod population before the mandarin. I seeded my tank for months with pods getting the population up.

You're equipment list looks fine to me too, the extra power head is probe good idea.

Love the scape as well, and the awesome move of the tank. Congrats;)

Edit, ask ingtar shinowa or kevin about powder blues! lol
Also, a wrasse is awesome, just build aa top for the tank if ya get one.

Not really sure what ya mean by this post walt.

IMO, biopellet reactors are a great tool when used right. I have one setting in my closet, and am scared to run it after reading so many people have algae issues, coral issues etc. Like I said they're a great tool if needed, just read up a lot on them before starting, and make sure ya start with a lot less than recommended. Personally, I'd wait to see if ya even need it. I've been able to keep up on my trates with just chaeto and WC's.

There are a lot of people on here that use them and love them though.

    Good luck

yeah don't add all the fish ya want after getting that either!;)

Yes the powder blues are beautiful but I will definitely look into those "friendlier" options! The only fish I am absolutely stuck on is the copperband. Thanks for the advice!
