my first saltwater tank

    this is my first tank i think its 75 gallon never have found a way to calculate the size of a bow front. there not much in the tank right now i am waiting for it to completely cycle before i put anything good in the tank

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It looks like a tank with a lot of potential.

    I would however add more rock and the starfish is going to be very challenged during the cycle and should probably go to an established tank or returned to the LFS that sold it to you.

    Thanks I have been adding rock slowly haven't found many I like. the star fish has been in there for over a month the tank is around 2 and half months old

    Welcome to 3reef. That is an interesting geometry challenge to determine volume. I used to be good at that stuff but the rust is thick. Perhaps doing the L, W, H up to curve to determine volume. Then measuring the height of the curve to the base so to speak and the length and height may help determine curve. I don't remember the equation for triangles like that though. Second thought - you might want to start with the manufacturer name and do a search. :)
