So...OUR first school project is coming up next semester ( january the 5th)

we plan to fix this tank right up.. its a salt water;D

it currently has 1 clown 1 damsel 1 bicolor and two other unknown fish to me.

we plan to take gravel out.. add base rock, and lr add live sand or regular sand.
and perhaps a new light fixture..

but i need help.. from you guys... so whats your opinion? what do we do first?

kinda want to take a separate tank for us to put the fish in meanwhile we do all sorts of nice things to the tank.

and for those of you who dont know the Coral club means..

Creatures Of the Reefs And Lakes club... C.O.R.A.L club lol

um i was also thinking.. should we take those hang in filters and just buy a canister filter? or make a sump? ( the tank is not drilled or anything) .

well this one its located at a teacher's classroom but as you can see its not in the best shape. thats our objective with this one.. fix it right up.

we plan on adding a DT to the library but thats in a future tank.;)

personally, I say if your going to do something, do it right... I would get an overflow and put in a sump with a skimmer and maybe some activated carbon.

This makes the tank look nicer because it doesnt have stuff hanging all over the back of it and its quieter and it cleans better

yea i was thinking that.. idk about the skimmer but definitely a better filtration. it has to be within the club's budget ofcourse.
so. well see what we can afford. but we will do our very best;D

we are thinking or getting some BR from reef cleaners. and perhaps a cuc from them as well.

as for now we just need to wait till our first general meeting on january 10. meanwhile we need to prepare our stuff and know what we need to do.
