Hi..guys I have been running my tank for few weeks and I test my water for pH, amonia and the nitrates and everything looks good compared to the color chart in the test kit,.
My question is.. Is it ready to put a fish or coral..?? Or I need to check something else.
    Thanks guys...

Welcome!! So I'm guessing it cycled already? Can you post your readings?

Well I was going by the colors, but the colors readings are:
pH between 8.2 and 8.4 colors
    Amonia 0ppm as the color
Nitrate (NO2) 0 ppm as the color
Nitrate (NO3) 0 ppm as the color

the results I'm giving you guys is as the numbers matched in the color from my results.

I did a test few days ago and the numbers were way high. I mixed my water and salt for like a week in a 42 gallon trash can, then I bought the sand from a reef guy and like 30# of live rock, then washed like 20# of dry rock in ro water with salt and a heater with 2 powerheads for 2 days, then I put all together at the same time. Thats how I started the to cycle, I hope its the right way, I have some live rock in the sump too(refugium).

the live rock should start a cycle if it wasn't cured. Have you tracked your test results during the last few weeks? Those numbers would help. The ammonia should have spiked, then the nitrites, and finally nitrates. I don't think nitrates would have gone to zero after the cycle unless you did a water change though?

you should also have a few other test kits. Alkalinity, Calcium, Phosphates, and Copper. but so far your readings look great, if your ph is in that range I would guess you alkalinity is in a good range too, but its always good to be sure! how long has it cycled for?

if the number were high then droped after a few weeks then the cycle is over. but back teh orginal question at hand, I would do corals first then move to fish and other inverts. make a diverse ecosystem then add fish for a more stable tank IMO.
