My first tank! May 93

    Look what I found while organizing some of my old pictures. On the back its dated May 93! :eek: (back when backgrounds and undergravel filters were popular).


    I was 5 years old, so it was actually my dads tank ;D. Poor anemone, who knows how long it lasted ;).

    :lol: Im pretty sure its a Condylactis, so its not too bad.

    This one was flourescent (not sure what kind though).

    T10s mostly I recall you get maybe 4 across the back of average width tanks if you modified the hood and they also had individual refectors - and you had 1 ballast per tube so it really was belt and braces

    :sunny: I've seen sun lit tanks and in all honesty, they have no color if not supplemented. Lots of algae problems too... kind of a bummer.

    Ive seen some beautiful ones using sola-tubes. Most use some vho's or T5s to add some blue spectrum, so there not that bad.Dont know about the algae though.
