So here are my two future aquarists. Logan (Eight) and Serena (Six). Soon they will have their own 15g tall reef tank.

My son had just got finished "rescuing" a turbo snail from "certain death". It was on the water line and he was concerned that it would leave the water and perish. So I instructed him on the gentle way of removing turbo snails from the glass. After I took the above picture. He wanted an "action shot" taken. Completely staged, here it is below.

So there ya have it. My prides and joy.

Good stuff. Cute kids. Enjoy them :)

I also showed and explained to my kids about the tank and now my son takes care of things when I'm away.

Great learning experience for them about life in general.

Great looking kids John, thats great that your getting your kids involved. Makes them appreciate nature and make them aware on how delicate the whole eco-system is. I, like Otty, am not 100% secure about my "helpers" yet, but will help as they get older. But they do love to sit(for about 5 min) in front of the tank and watch everything and sometimes show me things that I havent seen before. Luna
