    Hi Guys,

I get an occasional spot of GHA but I typically take care of it by scrubbing it with a tooth brush if I can. My phosphate and nitrate levels are zero. The thing is that one of my fuzzy chitons has been growing GHA on its back and it is getting crazy. It is starting to look like a chia pet :) I know that they grown things as camouflage but I would rather it grow something else. The GHA isn't spreading throughout the tank so I am not worried about an outbreak. I would just prefer there to be zero GHA. Would you worry about it or just let it grow? At this point, I think it is too long for any of my hermits to eat it. Maybe one of my turbos if they could find it. Thanks!!!

    Regards,
    Ivy

you can pick it of his back, run your thumb up to your index finger like you are going to grip a really small pencil and pull it off him. He will stay on the rocks, they are very strong in that regard.

I will take a picture the next time I see it. It hides in the back of the tank mostly. It is funny to see though.

good luck with it! Don't be afraid when you pull it, the algae is attached to the chiton's plates, it doesn't feel it.

Well, I promised I would post a picture of my fuzzy chiton and it has taken this long for it to come around so I can. Unfortunately, the only came I have that is working right now is my phone. So, the quality isn't the best. But you get the idea. I haven't plucked it yet since I wanted some pictures, but will do so today or tomorrow. Thanks for looking!!!
