So I got thus today while picking up water for my weekly change. Paid 30 was nice and full iin store. So hope all goes well. I did read up and it seems it will move on its in but always moves up to higher rock so I placed it high and looks like its foot likes it.

Also bought this lil block of supplement.

+1 to being very bleached! Do you know how long the LFS had it in their tank before you purchased it? What kind of lights are you running? What are your tank parameters? How old is your tank?

Also, IMO I would remove that supplement block and dose by hand.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Bleached means it appears to have lost it's zooxanthellae. Zooxanthellae give them their coloration, provide some defensive against UV and most importantly provide the anemone or coral with carbohydrates.

Without the zooxanthellae, the anemone will be unable to meet it's nutritional needs. The zooxanthellae, use light (autotrophs) to produce sugars. Very simplified explanation.

Corals and inverts may expel their zooxanthellae, from stress related to poor water quality, shipping, inadequate lighting.

Feed the BTA a small piece of raw seafood twice a week. Raw fish, clams, scallops or shrimp that you can get from the grocery store. If it refuses to eat do not force it but try again the next day. Remove any uneaten or expelled pieces from the tank so they do not foul the water.
