So I set this 10 gallon tank up about 2 months ago to hold some frags and rock that I acquired from a friend breaking down his tank. After my girlfriend saw it, she said, "that would look great in my office." It has been running the last 2 months bare bottom with LR. And so here we are. I added the purple psuedo 2 days ago.

Here's the thing, I added the sand from a bag of Carib Sea fiji pink live sand that I had some left over from like 8 months ago. I rinsed and strained it 6 times before adding it.(yesterday) And I just tested and have got a slight ammonia spike.:( I did a 30 percent water change.

We ordered some stuff online that will arrive in the morning, and now I'm thinking that I might need to put it in my 90 DT for a few days????

this is what we ordered: green alvopora, mushrooms, and a red spotted blennie.

Sweet, nice setup. Cool dottyback, I like the idea of a 10g aggressive tank :p

The dottyback came down with Velvet. It was very sad. I ran the tank fishless for 4 weeks and added the diamond goby last week.

The xenia looks like it will grow out of the water soon! I will not allow it to touch the glass.

Its amazing how sometimes a smaller tank gives such a cool picture of what a small piece of the ocean could look like... Looks Awesome!

Thanks man! Ive havent had the funds to do anything with it yet. All the corals in there came from my 90 DT. I want to get some more color in there other than purple and green. But its coming along quite nicely for what it is right now.
