you might want to look into 2 of the orchid dotty backs. if you get them as juveniles you have a 85% chance they will pair. they are cool to watch and very pretty. they are always producing eggs. the mating ritual is cute the way he tries to lore her back to his place...lol
this is the second time i have paired them. i had a pair in my first tank years ago. and these act the same as the other pair did.

That sounds really cool. I plan on moving the diamond goby back into the 90 gal. DT in a few weeks. But my girlfriend wants a pair of Black clowns, because we can get them from Sustainable Aquatics here in TN. She only wants to have aquarium bred fish, and she really likes them.

i have only paired the tank raised orchid dotty backs. a friend also did it and it worked for her also. it might be an option.
they aren't aggressive at all, so having them with other fish isn't a problem. i think they are just to busy with each other.

what are your tanks dimensions? that diamond goby looks huge, looks more like a 5 gallon, I could be mistaken though

It's a standard 10 gallon tank. The diamond goby is large, but he was only in there for about 6 weeks, and is now back in my 90 gallon. It was a temporary home while I ran the tank fallow to get rid of ich in the 90.
