I have just started adding corals about a month ago, and I have 2 small frags of Zoo's on 2 rocks in the front of my reef. Both rocks are near the glass, away from the reef. Both frags are on small pieces of tile, not rock.
All the sudden my Goby comes swimming up to his cave with a small piece of live rock with Orange and Green Zoo Polyps attached to it!!!! The rock was still pretty white (No Algae or Coraline). Cannot find where it came from, But has about 7 nice looking polyps on it!! So I put it on a rock and we will see how it does.

What I cant figure out is where it originated...I cant find anymore. I also wondered how it grew without light--I am assuming it had little light due to the fact that the rock was so white.

Zoas are pretty hardy, it may have survived with what little light it could get.
