My GSP is deep purple ?

    I know its suppose to be light purple but mine is dark purple does that mean its dead?

    well first of all what are your parameters? and if you touch it does it move? maybe poke it with a stick or something very softly and see what happens

    Nah, i have seen them be dark purple mat and very light purple mat..NO need to worry.

    well I've never had GSP so it sounds like its not a bad situation

    I have seen the mat deep purple also. It's all good.

    Sweet thanks I also put my other 2 power heads i just got in so now i have 2 1400 and 2 750 in a 75 gallon my nems are all over the place lol

    GSP duz not open just at random times...I would never worry about GSP unless its dying, if its dying..You probebly have something horribly wrong with your water or something is eating it.

    Thank you im just worry cause when i was cleaning the other day i hit it but its actually growing so no really that worried. little worried about my Green Encrusted Gorgonia dont really have much of a shaded area for it but they say its the same as GSP
