My Helmet Dive in St. Thomas 100+ Pics!

GREAT pics! How is the experience with using the helmet compared to regular scuba? I always wanted to try that but afraid I might get a big claustrophobic. I'm truly jealous of your dive!

They use positive air pressure so if you lean forward to far or backward water shifts into your face. At first I was nervous but once you start breathing it is ok.

It was Coral World in St. Thomas, they had tons of other things to do there as well.

$90 which was through our Cruise ship and included transportation as well.

You get 30 minutes in the water which seems like a really long time (once you are in there)

They also offer HD video as well, (which is where the pics were stills from) for $65

Very cool! What type of camera did you use? The pictures came out great! My wife and I visited St. Thomas during our honeymoon cruise... we did a helicopter flight on St. Thomas and did SCUBA on St. Maarten - much more to see where you went!

 

It was Coral Worlds Camera, it was a $12,000 underwater HD camera. They didn't give specifics really, when they showed us the pics my jaw dropped. These posted are compressed jpegs as well.
