my home made DIY hood!

    -design and draw first!

    -measure EVERYTHING first!

    -then go buy some wood!

    -use ur measure meants!
    [​IMG]
    -then start nailing and glueing!

    -my door to the hood...
    [​IMG]
    -time to put hinges on!
    [​IMG]
    -cut a some of the wood off to make the hinges flush with the wood
    [​IMG]
    -put them on now!

    -almost done!

    when the hoods closed...

    and when its opened...
    (i made it to where when its onen, i have a shelf to put stuff on when working in the tank!)

    yes it still needs to be painted! i will post pics with it on when its painted!

    LOL...cool....maybe a mini LCD TV in there...and a WEB cam for monitoring while away? LOL... It could get crazy ! : )

    i have t5s... idk what i want to do... right now i have it bassically built around my t5s.... but im thinking about taking my t5s apart and mounting it to the hood its self... i have mood lights i bought to put in.... (my t5s didnt come with them) what do u guys think i should do? leave my hood around it or build them into the hood?
