My in-wall 120 "From the Beginning" Lots of PICS

So this is my little project, I bought the house last summer with an unfinished basement so it was the perfect blank slate for my reef obsession.

The original unfinished basement.

Breaking up the concrete to run a drain and extra plumbing for the fishroom.

Picked up the tank on Kijiji for 400$ came with a bunch of accessories, valves, plumbing, pumps. It was a great deal.

Starting to build the 2x4 shell

Perfectly balanced, the thick foam underneath surely helps

Waterproofed all the surrounding 2x4's with a few thick layers of deck paint.

Sound insulating the entire wall, no need to hear pumps and equipment outside the fishroom

Gyproc is up and raised subfloor with rubber feet installed

Proflex 4, decided not to build an ugly sump like I usually do, got a nice deal.

Little area for the automated water top off and water change area, it needs some shelves to separate the two containers.

Basement is plastered and almost ready for paint

Custom built LED's, 300 watts, a mix of 10W and 3w bulbs with 4 red bulbs for pop.

Filled with RO/DI
