Tired of topping off every night. I am having a hard time deciding between a reef keeper lite or a jbj ATO. Any suggestions?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You've a nice collection of zoanthids going. Your sig says T5HO that does not look like T5 lighting? I really really like cloves for some reason. Tank looks fantastic, nice scape arch.

    looking good!
As for an ATO I have a tunze 3155 dialed down on my innovative 30 and have no issues. Not sure on the jbj or reef keeper lite hopefully someone will chime in. I believe I have seen them mentioned in other threads so may be worth a search. If you have never had an ATO before you will end up wanting 1 for each tank.

    Cool new additions.

I personally use about 4 TBL carbon and change it out every 3-4 weeks. I have my carbon in a cheap reactor but putting carbon in a filter bag works too. I use filter floss instead of a sponge (or you could do both) replaced once a week. For phsophate removal I recomend mixing bulk GFO with carbon and placing in filter bag/reactor. You will end up replacing the carbon/GFO a little sooner than the GFO needs replacing but you won't hardly need to use any GFO anyways in your nano. Just my recomendation as there are many ways to set up filtration.

Battling a slight Cyano outbreak, not sure what is causing it but I have cut back feeding even more and changed out the pump to a MJ1200.

The cyano is driving me crazy. It has not overtaken the tank yet but has streamers everywhere.

I have swapped the stock pump for a mj900. The 1200 seemed to cause too many micro bubbles from cavitating, same thing if I had 2 600's running.
I have done 2 40% water changes in the past 10 days.
Pulled one of the mechanical filters and replaced with a bag of Gfo.

And it still seems to slowly get worse.

Getting a bit frustrated with this cyano. It has not overtaken the tank yet but the streamers are multiplying.

I have upgraded the stock pump to the MJ900. Tried 2x600's and a 1200 but both combos produced microbubbles from cavitating.

I have done 2x 40% water changes in the past 10 days.

Skimming like normal and feeding every other day.

Previous water top off and changes were using Distilled water from gallon jugs but the last 2 were from a new RODI unit.

Water parameters are all reading normal.
