Man am I excited, I just bought this nano tank for $150 and I pick it up tomorrow. I get to have a little reef tank in my bed room :D

The tank, stand, and included equipment are all in good condition. Everything works, and the tank is ready to run. The tank and stand are stock, EXCEPT for that the lighting hood has been upgraded to include a 2X18W power compact actinic bulb to supplement the 150W Metal Halide. The metal halide bulb is a Phoenix 14K and has approximately 6 months on it (will wnat to replace within 7 months). Same for the PC lights. Included equipment: Tank, Stand, Ballast, Moonlight power adapter Coralife "Power Center" dual analog timer strip, the Ocean Pulse Duo wavemaker timer, 2X Maxijet 1200 return pumps, Mag Cleaner, 2 brand new 18W 420nm/460nm 50/50 power compact bulbs, the original skimmer and air pump (no air stone), and the filter media box. The tank is all cleaned up and ready to go

Thanks bnw614 and Corailline, When I seen it for sale locally here I jumped all over it, I was surprised at the price it was still available which posted yesterday morning hahaha.

I am shocked beyond belief my wife said I can get it and to think I was going to redo my 72 bow front behind her back, lol.

I am thinking primarily SPS and LPS, I want live rock, but the rock lacks lots of holes and such for putting plugs in, may need some dry rock that I can drill out holes before putting in the tank. I am also thinking that black Hawaiian sand for substrate.

    Awesome deal. Congratulations!

Sounds like you've got some great ideas for it, too. :)

FWIW, you can use all dry rock (as I did) and skip the pests. I still have coralline everywhere (came in on snails) and beneficial hitch hikers (were in the LR rubble to which my corals were attached).

Thanks Mr Bill, Yes I got some thoughts on it, #1 on my list is the Meteor Shower Coral, I just love it.

I thought about the lighting and the system is pretty compact and thought the MH light on such a small system must really warm up the water, so I found guy who is selling a 1/4hp chiller for $120.

Is a 1/4hp chiller to much for this system?

A 1/4hp is rated for up to 170 gallons, but for that price, I'd take it. The extra hp just means it won't have to work as hard to maintain tank temp. By comparison, a new 1/13hp (rated for up to 50g) is around $500.
