My LFS salinity 1.020 and mine 1.025 ... may it cause a problem for the fishes to face higher salinity in my tank or that is normal if i acclimate them 30 minutes ..so iam thinking ofmaking my salinity 1.020 to match ????

You're fish came from more saline waters than what your lfs is keeping them at, so no, higher sanity is not a problem (yours is on the money). Follow the great advice provided in your other threads if you want to improve your tank. Good luck.

Up your acclimation time. 30 minutes may not be long enough if the water between yours and the LFS is that different. I would say at least 2 hours to be safe. And keep your salinity at 1.025, or maybe lower to 1.024 at the most, but no lower.

Introducing a fish to a higher SG is much more stressful on the fish, than going from a higher SG to a lower

I would lower your SG to 1.023 and keep it that way if you are running a fish only tank.

Also as previously mentioned take some extra time with acclimation.

Are you putting the fish in your QT or DT? Hopefully it is your QT, lower its salinity to match your lfs and then slowly raise it to match your DT.

What I gathered from his/her question was if a salinity of 1.025 is harmful for his fish. That answer is no, that is a near ideal level (if we're shooting for natural levels). However, proper acclimation will be necessary for the fish before placing them in the display tank if they are coming from a salinity of 1.020

If this question is driven by the ich issues that he/she has been having, then his/her questions have already been answered in 3 previous threads. Take the tang back, let the tank sit fish-less for 6-8 weeks and QT every new new addition (do they hypo-salinity treatment if he/she desires). The salinity sitting at 1.025 is not the root cause of the ich.

The specific question of whether the OP should adjust his SG to more closely match the LFS seems appropriate.

How to acclimate fish from a lower SG to a higher SG?

Helpful responses should be addressing the intent of this thread not other threads, please stay on topic.

Where it's from the LFS, I would go ahead and stick an airline in there. I wouldn't do this with a fish that travelled overnight.
