My lighting good enough for softies

hey just a quick question

I have 132w PC lighting 10k, over my 29g...i am just doing softies, do you guys think its enough for them to grow farely fast?

 

there are other factors to coral crowth rate than just light but at 132w of 29 gallons you have more than enough for softies!!!

You are good. Just to give you re-asurance, here is my 14 gal. Biocube with stock 2 X 24 watt 50/50 PC bulbs.......

 

ok cool....my bulbs are like 11months old......do you guys think that is the reason why my GSP isnt as green?

 

Yes, change those bulbs quick before the Green Hair breaks out! 6 mos. max on PC.

 

UVL pc bulbs are the best I've found.. ReefGeek > Aquarium Supplies for Marine, Reef, and Saltwater Aquariums

 

Yeah, change out the bulbs, but PC are fine ona softy tank.

MH are pretty much a waste over fluorescents like t5ho unless you want SPS and clams.

And even then, t5ho will do just fine.
