    I've kept Lobo's for 2 years, and never lost one :) Here are some things that I've observed:

    1) They really are sanddwellers. Lower it in your tank, but do it slowly or you risk shocking it again, don't want that :)

    2) Changes in color from the LFS/other tank are not at all uncommon and shouldn't be a cause for concern unless you start seeing skeleton, bony ridges protruding from the flesh. That'll be EXTREMELY obvious!

    3) Alot of people recomend feeding Brine, but if you look at the nutrition analysis, Mysis is much, much more nutritious. I feed mine mysis and Reef Roids about once per week...

    In general, I would say don't worry about it. If it's splitting off heads, it's happy and you're meeting all it's needs. If all you're looking is for more color, you may be out of luck. They tend to take the color they want in your tank and that's that :) I hope this helps :) You can look at pictures of my purple and red lobo in my gallery. (When I bought the purple, it was a peach color. In my tank it turned bright lavendar)
