That's what Lunar Wrasses do, although I'm not sure about the starfish. They are very aggressive.

i have a 75 gallon tank, with the lunar, and a yellow tang in it, i'm considering moving them both to a 240 gallon tank with a very large moray, and a blue trigger. am i to expect a war? i loved that lobster. :(

3 months ago i lost a grouper, tomato clown, hippo tang, and a cross hatched trigger due to an ich outbreak. still haven't gotten over it.

Sorry for your troubles. However, that's typical behavior of the Thalassoma genus. Not a good candidate for a reef tank.
