    12 Step Program

Maybe I can convice my wife to setup a clownfish tank in the bedroom lol. ;D Would that make me crazy? I think not, maybe addicted to saltwater lol. Is there a 12 step program out there?

    Maybe something like this:

    Step 1: Research
    Step 2: Plan
Step 3: Purchase proper tank size/equipment
    Step 4: Start Tank/Cycle w/o livestock
    Step 5: Add some LR
Step 6: Add a CuC (from reefcleaners.org of course)
Step 7: Test water parameters regularly
Step 8: Cycle is finished! ;D
Step 9: Introduce first fish, no impulse buying
Step 10: Continue to test for ammonia now/mini cycle
    Step 11: Be patient
Step 12: Add another fish and have fun lol

Just my $0.02 lol. Feel free to make suggestions! ;D

Me, I just bought the tank, rock, sand, light and filtration. Set it up how I want it, and let it run like it's ok, throw a dead shrimp in the tank and let it run it's cycle check it every other day. Once it's done and u see normal para levels, wait a week, retest. Once all cycles are done add the cuc! Wait another week and start adding corals, then wait another week and add your fish!

How's the tank doing now? I use this thread for inspiration for my bedroom 10gal tank. I really like your LED Moon lights, but I can't find any fixtures like it. Do you remember the manufacturer of your lights?
