I know... and that's why I was asking about my bioload at this point...
Still cannot find that Chromi... I guess he didn't make it. The others are doing great though and are swimming all over the tank... I guess they are happy to be finally in an environment that provides them with everything they need :)
So, that's a good thing... we all have to focus on the positive things in life, right?! And I am a very positive person, despite the fact that I had to move to Europe and leave my business behind (you can check it out at www.ez-days.com). But what the heck!!!
One day at a time and as long as I feel that I am growing as a person on a daily basis, I am happy :)
But thanks so much for your message!!!

That's true... I had one before and they area actually very fun to watch... but I have to check with my lfs whether he has one. Like I mentioned before, here in Spain we don't have that great of a selection... everything has to be custom ordered.

I don't get it.... I found the Chromi.. dead!!! All the parameters have been stable and my other fish are doing great. Maybe he was just not that hardy. So, I will contact my lts and get a replacement today. He doesn't charge me, so that's a good thing :)

sorry to hear about the fish. glad you found it though before it started to rot and cause a cycle again.

emerald crabs are fun for sure. at one of my LFS they had a large one in a coral frag tank on display. it wasnt for sale but overtime i convinced them to get rid of him. i wanted this guy the day i saw him. biggest emerald crab i had ever seen at a LFS. i will say he has caused some havoc, but did cause me to create better, solid, aquascape. (he picked up and moved some rock rubble that i had placed up on some other rock and it fell causing a mini-rock avalanche) his body is about 1" wide and with his legs out hes about 2".

ive seen him superman off the top of my second rock island to the bottom of the sandbed for food before. pretty awesome.

besides that fun, GREAT CLEANER. just dont piss it off when you're moving around rock. it latched on pretty darn hard to my finger in self defense and then ran off. he'd be able to wrap himself around a golfball to give you an idea of the size ;)

ha, lucky you. while typing this up (after "GREAT CLEANER") i chose to go see if i could find him for a pic to show size. sure enough shined a light in and he's on a piece of LR eating some algae so i snapped some pics). also got a pic of my new fire shrimp, the peppermint cleaning up some algae, and in the pic of the fire shrimp you can see the coral beauty hiding out

yeah as mentioned he picked up some rock rubble and threw it off the side of my island. he did this to get a piece of food though, so i didnt get mad because he was doing his job cleaning up after my clown fish.

and yes he has killed a few snails already that got in his way. i also have witnessed him pickup a hermit crab by its shell that got too close to him, turn, and drop him off the rock island.

so far he's provided some comic relief. aptly named mr pinchy

he has the looks of a large spider sometimes when i see him in the nightlight so it freaks me out at times. i have a childhood developed fear toward large arachnids.
