    My skimmer is acting up and not functioning properly, so since my day just started, I will go to my lfs and talk to the guy... paid a lot of money for it and as we all know it is crucial for the bioto thape. So, I hope I can fix it myself.... otherwise the weather here is dull and rainy... quite unusual for Spain but better Germany... arktig temperatures there and I have to go back in a couple of weeks, so hopefully it won't be that cold anymore.
    Blablabal..... interesting, huh?!
    Anyway, everything else is well, leaving the tank alone and even though I had a minor spike in ammonia, the fishies are happy and very active. But as I said before, I will wait to add more bioload for another 3 weeks or so. I just ordered my CUC and hope it will get here soon. My diatom has gotten better and the parameters are pretty stable. BTW. Love my Aquatronica Conroller ... I wish I could have gotten the cheaper reefkeeper but it's not available in Europe. Next I will get the Internet modem, so when I have to travel, I can always keep an eye on things. I do have someone who will feed the fish but she doesn't know much about water parameters and what to do when they vary.
    OMG... hope I didn't bore you guys but ready to go now and then in 3 weeks I will get my clowns (well depends on what he can get but he has my lifestock list)....
    Generally speaking I'm a very happy camper!!!! ;D ;D

    Sandsifter Starfish

    Btw. Anybody with experience with a sandsifter starfish? Mine seems very happy and shows up about once a day before he buries himself again.... but do they need any additinal food? Never had one before, so dunno :( ....
    As far as I know, he won't touch my future corals but I also had planned to get a harlequin crab and I am afraid that the crab would start eating it...
    Any recommendations?::):-/

    dont know about the crab - a harlequin shrimp on the other hand would certainly eat it

    food - Tip from Inwall75 on invert thread recently
    poke some food into the sand bed close by it when you know where it is
    frozen mysis was mentioned, but Im sure other food stuffs would also be welcome
