My new 110g set up just started

I will have to travel for businiess for 10 days but alracdy asked my lfs guy to come twice to check the tank and have already installed an automatic feeder.... I hope they will be ok....

 

careful with the autofeeders. took me a couple weeks to dial mine in on my cichlid tanks. it was adjustable and would decide to start spewing food on its own. was a cheap $12 one and i wound up having to silicone the adjustable gate to make it stop overfeeding.

 

Thanks for your comment, I had my lfs guy install it to make sure its set up properly. Plus I have someone to chekck the parameters daily, I hope all will be ok... when I get back, I will get my first corals.... probably some Mushromms to start out with some hardy ones....
Leaving for Germany tomorrow. I will miss my tank!!

I would be careful with those auto feeders as well.
BTW, in the second pic, I notice the reflection of what seems to be your curtains? I have the same ones in my home;D

 

Like I said I have someone who will take care of the tank during my absence.....
And the thing with the curtains is funny, cause I bought these in Spain hahah

Oh jeeeez.... what a trip... Germany is FREEEEEEZING and of course I was concerned about my tank but my lfs guy came twice and it's looking great. Got my first muschrooms today... sorry but my camera is not working. I will post a pick tomo. Also, I am happy that I got 2 Peppermint shrimp that will hopefully take care of my apthaisia problems.

I was wondering where your updates were - Germany!! Glad your tank is doing well and congrats on your mushroom! Can't wait to see pics.

 

First corals added

Like I mentioned ... thank God I am back from freezing Germany... actually came two days sooner. Tank is looking great. Got the mushrooms and two peppermint shrimp yesterday and today we had a power outage, which freaked me out. But it only lasted for a couple of hours. My RO unit is not working right now.... don't ask why... no idea, so I went out and bought some water. The Mushrooms are doing quite well... pic attached. And soon (in about 2 weeks the next fish). For now all I have in there is a coral banded shrimp, 2 peppermint shrimp, snails, one sandsifter starfish, 2 small green chromis and 2 ocillaris black and white (they are sooo cute btw. ... always sleep together )
