    Mushroom corals changing colors

    my mushrooms that were originally blue have turned dark red... mmmhhh..
    no idea why.... any comments?

    Also, my zoas have only opened partially.... it was such a beautiful piece when I saw it at my lfs with multicolors but now it's taking its taking its time and I am not that patient! Anybody experienced that before?

    i notice you have 8x39W T5. its possible they're not getting enough light in their current placement? im not sure...

    That is more than enough light for zoas.

    Thanks for asking... but I think the lighighting is not the problem. Today they seemed to start opening... so I am hopeful! Otherwise all is good ... my fish are doing great and all other corals are also very happy. So, it cannot be due to my parameters. I will wait another week and otherwise might take it back to my lfs. Still waiting for my base rock. Also orderered some more coloreful corals. Still unsure what fish i should add next....
    either a wrasse (Mc Cosker) or a blue tang. Any suggestions? I eventually would like to add 2 anthias but think they need a more stable tank?

    def go with the mccoskers wrasse! they are sweeet :D
