Just went to my lfs today and found this beautiful and already quite large Blue Tang as well as some red mushroom corals. Since I did not have enough LR in the tank, I also bought 1 piece. As I said before, I am still planning on adding more ... but one at a time 'cause I don't want to cause another cycle... hope you guys like it? Tell me your honest opinion!!

And of course a pic of my new puppy :)

 I am reporting you to PETA!
    Cute dog.
Since you asked.. I think your rock looks a bit 'stacked.' The natural look is hard to pull off though. Definitely takes some messing around. I will see if I can find a good layout pic when I get back today.

Hahahha I love puppies. What a cutie!! How did your yellow tang react to adding the hippo?

I agree, the rock looks a bit ... tall. Sparse and tall. I know you said you were adding more - but even then. Good shaped rock though, with a bit of work it will fit together nicely I think. A background would go a long way too :)

i agree with others. i had this same problem i first started scaping my tank. looked all stacked and 'forced'. 5 or 6 rounds of scaping and its finally not looking forced. with the dimensions of your specfic tank it gives you the ability to make some nice tall islands of rock if you wanted to which is nice. but yeah id get about ~30-40lbs more rock.

personally i started with the shallow mound look to my rock, then formed two islands, then brought them together, then ripped them down and built one island and then the other rock just kind of tapers off to one end. most recent i restacked rock up on the left side with about a 60degree angle so coral will sit nicely all up it and around it. to give you an idea i have right around 90lbs of live rock in my 75gal display. heres a pic of the most recent scape:

Thanks ya'll for your comments....REALLY appreciate the advice about my aquascaping.... I am not happy with it yet either but want to wait a while until the all fish are well acclimated. Any suggestions are very welcome.... I just personally don't like that crowded look.
And Kacy, the yellow tang didn't even approach the bigger blue hippo, So, I'm very happy.... he is still hiding most of the time but sometimes comes out and swims around very actively.
I was very tempted to get the Powder Blue which was gorgeous but with that low survival rate and the price tag of 95 Euros, I said Noooo way!!
