He is here right now and measured the ph 8.2 but the controller seems to be the problem. He is going to order new probes because the existing ones give me wrong readings. So we found out that the temperature was way too high. Since it does get very hot here, I will have to install a chiller or get an airconditioner. Oh well.... but there is hope. So, he is willing to give me a credit and replace the probes. But I will definitely wait for the airconditioner before adding any other lifestock.
Btw. measured EVERYTHING and all is good except for the temp.

Jeez.... what one doesn't do for this hobby.... getting an airconditioner for the room 'cause the temperatures here rise to over 90F. So, since I lost most fish and corals due to overheating, I am hopefully getting it installed by the end of the week. All other parameters are fine. So, my two clowns are still happy and the chromi has joined them... quite funny to watch.

Sorry for your troubles with the fish & temp. It is nice that you were able to get a large credit.

Might moving ... question about a chiller

Yep... thank God!! But still a big bummer! Now my chromi even died, so the only fish left are the two black and white clowns. I think the corals will survive... well the ones I have left and 3 are already paid for and waiting at the store for my tank to get up to par. Since I might move to the mainland of Spain and not sure yet, I am a bit ambivalent whether I should get a chiller or a small airconditioning unit.... but I am traveling to the place which is located in Terragona, approx. 70 Km east of Barcelona this week and will make my decision then.
Here the chiller is about 400 Euros.... Any suggestions about brand and what kind to get for my 110g?

will be traveling for business for the next 2 days and am already worried to leave my tank. But I can only hope that the remaining corals and fish will make it until I get the chiller or airconditioning.
Will be in touch upon my return.
