The 120 gal All Glass tank measures 48"Wx24"Dx25"H. It has 2 overflows that are 5"x10" and recessed out of view from the sides. Better to view from the side. Restricts certain lighting on the back 5" of the canopy. I was going to put a 175 MH that I have but couldn't because there is a plastic brace across the middle and then the overflows are plastic and I was afraid of melting any plastic with the halide lamp. I'm fine with the 8 T5's actually. It gives me 432 watts and with individual reflectors so that figure in actuality is probably higher. It has 4 blue actinics and 4 10,000K daylights. The 10,000K daylights are too bright and are causing green algae on the glass and sand as the day rolls on. I'm going to swap them out for some 20,000K or 14,000K. A fellow reefer I know has the 20,000K and he says it has a blue tint to it which is fine for me. I mean the light is soo bright!8)
The picture below shows the bright light and the brace and overflows and also return pipes. If anyone knows of a good combo for this type of setup please feel free to let me know.

    Water parameters are:
    Calcium 420
    Nitrate 5
    Phophates 0
    KH 7-8
    PH 8.2
    Specific Gravity 1.026
    Magnesium 1290
After one week. I've used 4 caps of Liquid Reef every other day to bring up the calcium and magnesium. I will taper off a little and keep a watch on it.
