Picked up my first anemone today. It's a bubble tip that has green to red tentaces. I was hoping it would stay in that little hole I set it in but it has already started to migrate. I just hope it starys on the rocks where you can see it and doesen't go hide behind something and never see it.

    Not the greatest shots.

Got a chance to get some better pictures this morning. The nem crawled behind a rock last night, but emerged this morning as hasn't moved in a while so maybe it's found a home.

I have a disease I think. Was bored today so I drove around to a bunch of fish stores. Got a pair of media reactors to run pos-ban and carbon in. Also, got a couple frags and a new fish. Spent some time taking pictures also so here are some new ones.

Full under stand shot. I picked up a new light for the fuge this week also, I used to just use one of those clamp on lights with a 30 watt spiral flourescent bulb. New light is a corallife 2 x 18w Frehwater T5 strip 6700K and full spectrum bulbs.

Took some macro shots of the pods in my fuge.

Fed the RBTA some shrimp. Coolest thing I have ever seen watching it swell up to swallow the shrimp.

Looks great! Some of that aquascape looks like faces. Really different. Questions: How do you have your T5 lights set up? Dawn/Dusk - Daylight? Or just daylight? Do you have moonlights? I have similar bulbs for my 8x54W T5 setup. My setup from front to rear is:
    1 ATI Blue Plus 450mn
    2 GE 6500K daylight
    3 UVL 75/25 (14K) dawn/dusk
    4 ATI Blue Plus
    5 UVL aquasun (10K pink)
    6 ATI Blue Plus dawn/dusk
    7 ATI Aquablue (12K)
    8 ATI Blue Plus
I like mixing in the 75/25 into the dawn/dusk for a little more light than I had it originally setup with 2 blue bulbs. Good luck!

I'm running 6 x 80w bulbs on the 125. There are 2 bulbs per ballast so I have 1 ballast on a separate timer that comes on an hour before and stays on an hour later than the other 2 for dawn dusk. I put 2 Blue+ bulbs on that ballast so it's only blue and actinic for dawn/dusk. I made my own moonlights from 3 x 12" strips of Blue LEDs mounted down the center of the canopy.I would have liked to be able to fit 8 bulbs in there but I would have had to ordered two 36" aquatinic reflectors for each bulb as the only reflector I found for the 5' bulbs was the Icecap SLR reflectors and at 2.5" wide they are too wide to do 8 bulbs over a 18" wide tank.

    I'm running

    1. ATI Aquablue
    2. GE 6500K
    3. ATI Blue+
    4. ATI Blue+
    5. ATI Aquablue
    6. ATI Blue+

7+8. There is a 32w 50/50 PC bulb on each end of the canopy now since it's a 6' tank with only 5' bulbs I filled up the extra space.

I have a few more bulbs I was playing around with trying to find the color that pleased my eyes the most and this is what I ended up with.

I would try and I say just try setting it up this way
    ATI Blue+
    GE 6500K
    ATI Aquablue dawn/dusk
    ATI Blue+ dawn/dusk
    ATI Aquablue
    ATI Blue+
See how that looks for you and let me know what you think. My setup was designed by the grim reefer from reefcentral.com. He is a T5 expert and I love what he did for the look of my tank. Look him up on reefcentral.com and send him a private message and you'll get an answer in no time. The man is a friggin' genius. Good luck dude! 8)

Stopped up at the Coral Ranch today and picked up a few things. I got 2 more cleaner shrimp. Also, got some nerite snails, new to nerities but they look cool and were $1 each, so we'll se how they do in the tank.

Anyways here are the pics of the new stock.

I also decided to see if I can rescue this wall hammer (he said they had a shipping delay and this died off some so he gave it me for almost nothing)

After failing to coax my black ocellaris into my RBTA I was looking for a clown that would host my RBTA. I'm going to try and house both clown species for a while to see if they can co-exist, so far so good no agression yet. But the Allardi loves the RBTA.
